Wellness Wednesday: Strawberry Protein Smoothie with Chia, Flax, and Hemp

Hemp, flax, and chia are some of my favorite plant-based protein sources. They’re so easy to consume on a regular basis, whether you’re blending them in smoothies like this one, adding them to your yogurt parfaits, sprinkling them on toast, or using chia or flax to make your own plant-based egg replacers.
I love making smoothies and experimenting with different combinations of fruits, nuts, seeds, and plant milks, and this Strawberry Protein Smoothie with Chia, Flax, and Hemp is one of my new favorites. Here’s how to make it.
What You Need (Makes Two Smoothies)
- 2 cups unsweetened flax milk (I like Good Karma)
- 1 banana, peeled
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ½ cup fresh strawberries
- ¼ cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tbs chia seeds
- 2 scoops hemp protein powder
- 1 tbs agave syrup
How to Make This Strawberry Protein Smoothie
- Add each item to your blender
- Blend on high for about a minute
- Enjoy!
